I had been waiting a long time to start a new motorcylce project... After completeing the project (GPZ 750) I felt the need for more power, so I bought a 1985 Ninja. The Ninja just needed some TLC, so I rode that around on weekends with my buddy Joe (He has a Ducati 748). The old Ninja had power but didn't corner to well. After telling a friend about this dilema, he offered up an older FZR to whet my appitite. Upon closer inspection I liked what I saw, so I plopped down 2 large and loaded my truck full of fizzer bits.
I'm planning on using this cyber space to cronicle my efforts with this bike, showing a blow by blow of my handywork as I fix up this old rocket sled. |
